I found this old-fashioned telephone is the home of an elderly couple in India. The whole picture seemed as if it were a moment trapped in time, so I wanted to try and capture it again. 16x20 2014

In addition to the vast tea plantation, Munnar, Kerala is home to many people, each with their own individual story, living in the beauty of these south Indian mountains. I witnessed this elderly man make the steep trek to his stand to sell peanuts. Oil on Panel. 18x24. 2014.

Oil on Canvas. 11 x 14. 2011. Grief is far more than an emotion suffered by the mind and heart; it is a place. It is a cage whose bars of painful loss and tormenting regret form an inescapable prison. This oil on canvas portrait captures the exact moment that Benjamin Linus, as portrayed by Michael Emerson, finds himself in such a place.

Oil on Canvas. 11x14. 2011. It is a frightening thing to delve into the unknown. But to be thrust into it, to be severed from the comforting ties of normality, and to be alone in the void outside of the frame of your understanding rips through the body with a visceral fear, as articulated by Evangeline Lilly, as Kate Austen, in LOST.

Oil on Canvas. 11 x 14. 2011. The subjectivity of beauty, a thusly intimate thing, leaves the beholder at the complete mercy of his perception. It is not received with a mere smile or tear, but with the often unrecognizable expression of awe, as depicted in this oil on canvas portrait of Terry O'Quinn as John Locke in LOST.

18x24. Oil on Canvas. 2011 This impasto style piece is based on a photograph of a Mexican Landscape.

25x36. Oil on Canvas. 2012 This original piece is based on photography taken in Kerala, India, and was been featured in the 2012 Senior Show at Stony Brook University. Donated to charity auction.
